The former Bluewater Uranium Mill, located near Grants, New Mexico was the second largest uranium processing facility in North America. The Anaconda operated plant operated from 1938 through 1983, processing uranium for the United States Department of Energy and other energy producing clients. AECI was retained by Atlantic Richfield to assist in-house management in preparing a site reclamation plan, health and safety programs, and project design drawings. AECI also provided construction management, performed quality assurance monitoring and prepared close-out documentation.
